However, if the cause of a blockage is not immediately clear, with our drain CCTV survey equipment we can take a closer look and identify what’s going on.
It could be that over time there has been ground movement, sometimes tree roots get into the drain, vehicle traffic can often lead to drains cracking and joints opening up or sometimes household items have been dropped into the drain.
Inten’s team of skilled engineers operate nationwide and all receive quality training to national standards. They are fully equipped to deal with any eventuality, so if your problem does require a drain CCTV survey, there’s no need for concern. Our team have cameras on our vans and can investigate the problem there and then.
How it Works
Engineers feed a specialist CCTV camera head attached to a reel of cable into the drain. The camera head incorporates a lighting system and the resulting bright image is transmitted to a monitoring screen for assessment and is recorded onto DVD.
Our engineers will use this information to make every effort to clear the blockage whilst on site. On occasions the line will be blocked to such an extent that a survey is not possible, but valuable information will be provided to enable you to make a decision about further action.
In both cases the engineer’s report is forwarded to you together with a DVD of the survey, site map and recommendations on remedial action should that be needed.
A drain CCTV survey is also a very useful way of identifying issues before they become more serious. For example we use it to survey drains in older premises, or in a building you are thinking of buying.
The survey provides a record of the system and we frequently find buried manholes and previously unrecorded lines. Tracking and tracing can also be carried out allowing us to pinpoint the position of services.
All our drain CCTV surveys are undertaken at a fixed price ,which includes a personalised report and an estimate of any remedial work needed. To find out
